Interlaken/Grindelwald, Switzerland
The clouds this morning gave way to one of the most beautiful, sunny days we have had thus far. We spent the morning walking around Interlaken, popping in and out of shops. In the afternoon we took a 30 minute train ride to the small Alpine village of Grindelwald. We might be the only people in this area not here to ski. The entire skiing area seemed different than what we are used to back home. It seemed much less organized/groomed than our runs. They seem to just ski wherever they want to even if it is through a back yard. The views from up there were great. By the way, there is a Hooters in Interlaken. Really?
